being able to save the files doesn't work with their subscription business model. pay once and download everything defeats them. the fact that there is no QA on the content they host is bad enough but now they want to lock people into pay indefinitely if they want to continue to view things they already paid to see.

Yeah I know why they did it. Just surprised that I didn't encounter this just a few days ago.

I barely even looked at who I was following anyway so I'll just unsub if there is no way to save anything besides screenshots.

I just noticed this as well, it's infuriating. If we pay for something, surely we should be able to download it at least!

Any ideas how to bypass it?

Theres certain programs that get around this, I have one which still works.

As a last resort, screen recorders exist :)

People will just use a screen recorder until someone devises a script to go around this block

I can still download vids using DownloadHelper for Firefox. The day Onlyfans blocks us from saving content is the day they kill their own business. Not a chance in HELL I would pay to simply rent some fucking porn vids. And there's always Justforfans (which is an infinitely better site to begin with).

With all of that said, I've yet to figure out how to save pictures on OF other than just taking a screenshot which sucks because then you get the little dots and arrows over the pics. Anyone have a tip on how to properly snatch that shit?

I'm not currently subbed to any OF so I can't speak to currently but in the past I used Total Files for iPhone to download vids and pics on OF without any issues at all. If anyone here has a current sub to an OF and uses Total Files can they confirm if the app still works???

You don't need an extension using F12 in Chrome. Was that disabled?

You can literally click on network (or elements?) tab and only select media, refresh the page after, then every time you press play on a video, it will appear as a link you can right click, open in new tab, then download from the new tab.

Same with Onlyfans. Renting material sucks and is even worse when there are guys posting videos in the DMs that cost 50 plus dollars.

yeah this is the method that doesn't work anymore. it's still possible to grab the video with certain extensions and yes you can still do a screen recording

i'm surprised they haven't moved to just using straight up DRM, which would make everything a LOT harder to download

pictures can still be saved using the above method (just filter the network tab by images instead of media)
