Ever since that Chinese company sold grindr to that American investment company they've been putting more effort in polishing and securing the app. It used to be simple to use Bluestacks to fish on Grindr, you can still do it on Scruff. Never used Grindr on any phone I owned, ironically. I much prefer sleuthing on IG and meeting guys off of that.

Ever since the phone verification on Grindr, I'd been using the Google/fb account login, I'd had like 70 gmail accounts ever since they first came out so it wasn't hard to rotate through them. Some time in the last 30 days that loophole was closed. Oh well, it was a good 8+ years of fishing.

True, but Grindr was always a cesspool. The same people on Grindr are more or less the same folks on Tinder. Grindr to me is like AIM. It had its golden period, but so many issues later its due to die off. There were rumors that Facebook would introduce instagram dating or something like that and it may still be on the menu for the company. The days of a la carte hookups/dating may very well be over.

Factory reset your phone or use secure folder if you have a galaxy

Uninstalling and re-enabling Secure Folder an using grindr in that seems to work. You might have to make a Google account and sign up with Google

i haven't been able to grindr being overseas since i use a google voice number. Is there any other app/phone numbers that work to get grindr working?

Make a new Gmail and try the login/signup with Gmail option

There is an app called “Text me” on iPhone for the Grindr verification. You can get a new phone number anytime and the verification texts come thru like a regular phone

To take captires from scruff using iphone:

Record screen, the screen will show white anyways, BUT if you keep pressed on the photo and move it around the screen you will eventually get it. Then turn off the recording screen option and you will have the video with the image you wanted to capture inside of it, you just have to take a pinture of your screen while whatching the video and you will have the image.

Sorry for my english. I hope its clear enought to understand how to save scruff images.

I use Nox Player on my computer.
You can spoof locations and I’ve never had to do the text verification thing.

Sooo what text apps generate usable numbers? I was using “text now” and “text free” and they worked fine on blue stacks but recently all the numbers those apps generate come up as invalid

Grindr has this text thing and yet it's still proliferated with bots. This company definitely has a hand in the current disastrous environment of the app.

Still haven’t found a work around for the number verification:/

Try creating a new gmail and sign up for grindr via Continue with Gmail. Might be able to bypass the phone number this way. Facebook may also work too, haven't tried it.

Also make sure you do this on a device that isn't banned. One you create the account, I think you should be able to log in on your banned device, via Continue wit Google/Facebook, without an issue
