So many white people are fucking exhausting because they can never handle their own mental health, and they truly believe they don't have to because the world treats them better than POC in their situation, especially black people, regardless of having their shit together or not. Then when they step up to the plate, they hold POC to a standard where they need to have their shit entirely together to even acknowledge their personal role in POC lives - which leads to "boo-hoo I'm a victim" because realizing they never will based on their skin color is uncomprehendable in their arrogance. Being called "white people" is the peak of them feeling marginalized and it's not even referring to their skin. Its referring their character that has now been shaped by the world treating them as if their skin color is superior, similar to how they treat other skin colors as inferior. That Critical Car Theory analogy is literally the stupidest fucking thing I've heard in a while. Black people are black because white people decided they were. Race is a construct, fact - but that doesn't negate the other part of it - acknowledging the results of you asshole shaping the world based on your false race-based superiority complexes (only ever "achieved" by bringing others down because, yes, you are currently shit). Y'all are really out here thinking race is anything but an ignorant concept of grouping human beings for the direct benefit on one "race" and the indirect benefits of every other race outside of "black". A spectrum was created and y'all cringe at accepting that that is fact because by its definition, the one you willfully accepted, you now end up at the bottom and that is too uncomfortable for your privalgaed minds to handle. You cant even envision what equity looks like which is why your circles are built for you to feel safe on a racial level with absolutely no justification to do so. For POC, it was and still is survival and growth, for white people its just an orgy of ego. Sort of lost me there about halfway through. Largely agree with your position on race being a social construct. Because there are no legitimate claims to racial superiority there is only so much that can be attributed to systemic bias.

There are many facets of disadvantage within our institutional framework with race being amongst the most prevalent. Still, there are simply too many “exceptions” to the rule across all races to argue that systemic bias is the root cause of modern socioeconomic disparity. There are simply too many poor white people and too many wealthy POC that undermine the racial bias argument.

If your parents did not go to college, have substance issues, struggle or do not hold a job and there is no daily role-model to tell them to aspire to more, it is going to be extremely difficult to break out of that. What is really bad is this push by ideologues to turn anything resembling ambitious or economic success as "whiteness" and that "hard work" as racist. No neurosugeon, nuclear physist, or engineer got to where they are at without some brains, hard study and focus.
