An average anesthesiologist during residency is taking home around 130-150K a year. His residency finished in 2020. There is no such thing as a pain management residency. It's called a fellowship and it only last between 9 and 12 months, while you're being paid full wages of an anesthesiologist.

Even if you took your point into account, he's been working as a pain management fellow for roughly a year and making those wages.

2. 12 month/1 year standard pain management fellowship ended July 2021.
3. It is now May 2022. He's been working as an anesthesiologist with a specialty in pain management for 10 months.

I would love to see any source you can provide claiming a pain management fellowship is a residency requiring several more years. LOL

The only thing you'll find is a slower fellowship program that takes 24 months, but as we can both see that isn't the case here.

You can even see the wording on his bio page. Fellowship-Trained, not trainee.

And just to throw this out there. If someone is an anesthesiologist who's finished their residency and is qualified to work in a clinical (hospital) setting and has finished their fellowship for a sub specialty within the anesthesia world and is making less than 250K at the worst in a medium-large to large city, they failed to negotiate during their hiring process. Even people who went to dubious Mexican or Caribbean schools make more than that in shitholes.
