Powells and voodoo are actually pretty touristy places to go, ESPECIALLY VOODOO any time of day aside from 4 AM. The day of that picture my housemates and I were showing some out-of-town friends around. The real place to hang in portland for portlanders is NE-Alberta arts district. I did do the naked bike ride though.

Believe me I know. I'm a Portland native, I've lived here for 25 years. Still, Powells is an ever popular destination, as is Voodoo (though a bit overrated). Don't really go for the NE hangouts though since I live on the west side.
